1960s Oreo Commercial
This video project underwent several changes and iterations as I navigated challenges with my product choice and the difficulty of making an Oreo look visually appealing on camera. I struggled to decide whether to create a motion piece and sought feedback from others, which helped me regain confidence and define a clear direction for the project. Inspired by positive responses to my animatic, I retained its elements, even though they weren’t perfectly polished. To tie everything together, I leaned into a vintage aesthetic, drawing from research into Oreo’s history, old logo designs, and the style of 1950s and 1960s commercials. This approach gave the video a nostalgic charm and a cohesive visual identity.
